Presence Avatars

Who is in the document right now. An overlapping stack of avatars, each carrying a live status indicator — a pulsing dot for online, amber for away, a hollow ring for offline — plus a tooltip naming the person. The remainder collapses into a +N chip. The whole stack is one accessible group whose label summarizes everyone present, so screen readers get a single coherent sentence instead of a row of icons. All colors are token-driven and adapt to light and dark; the pulse is reduced-motion safe.
